Overview
Grand Hotel Minerva is situated in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, in the
heart of historical Florence. Its splendid position makes it easy to get
to, and it is surrounded by many Florentine attractions. A short pleasant
walk through this wonderful town, and you can easily arrive at the famous
exhibition centres (Palazzo dei Congressi e degli affari and Fortezza
da Basso), the railway station, the Duomo, the Campanile di Giotto, the
Uffizi Gallery and all other major artistic and historical places of interest.
The hotel offers a "relax zone", situated on
the fifth floor, on a splendid panoramic terrace and besides guaranteeing
refuge from the heat and a wonderful tan, it offers its guests a unique
view - a visual dive of 360 degrees onto the Church of Santa Maria Novella,
the Cathedral, Giotto's Tower, Palazzo Vecchio, Fiesole and Piazzale Michelangelo.
It is open during the summer months and supplies a bar and catering service.
