9 Days  Day 1:
Positano Begin in Italy’s most beloved seaside village with a walk to the tiny neighborhood of Li Parlati. A savory sunset feast of local delights sets the mood. Day 2: Montepertuso Following twisting paths lined with purple bougainvillea, head north and trek along a mountain ridge with superlative views of the breathtaking coastline. Day 3: Capri Catch an early ferry to this island gem to walk the narrow paths lined with fragrant flowers and sumptuous homes, on our way to Villa Jovis. Enjoy a hearty picnic overlooking the Mediterranean. Day 4: Amalfi Ferry here to tour the ancient streets of this fascinating maritime republic, then stroll to Atrani and zigzag uphill through lemon and chestnut groves to Ravello, a treasure chest of exotic medieval art and exquisite gardens. Day 5: Ravello Set off to the sleepy cliff towns of Scala and Pontone, and descend through a valley of ancient paper mills to Amalfi, to learn about and taste limoncello, Amalfi’s famous lemon liqueur. Day 6: Paestum On this first day of cycling, leisurely rides on placid coastal roads await. First, shuttle south along the coast to ancient Paestum, home to some of world’s best-preserved Greek temples, then our coastal cycling begins. Day 7: Castellabate Pedal inland through poplar and olive groves to the charming towns of Perdifumo, Mercato Cilento and Matonti. Our private cooking lesson teaches us to make handmade fusilli, fettuccine al limone and spaghettini alle vongole.
Velia Ride to this 6th c Greek port town and intellectual center. Picnic on fresh buffalo milk mozzarella with basil and juicy red pomodori, and take a dip in the Mediterranean. Day 9: Our last day, shuttle to Agropoli’s train station. We’ll gladly assist in your post-tour travels.
