Ciclismo Classico's Bike Across Italy TourTour Duration : 11 Days Urbino A relaxing pedal to this quintessential fairytale city, home to master Renaissance painter Raphael. Day 3: Genga Visit an 11th c monastery, pedal past distant peaks and ancient villages on the way to Le Grotte di Frasassi, Italy’s most spectacular and largest known caves. Day 4: Gubbio Cycling west, cross into the wilderness of Umbria and head to Gubbio, a well-preserved medieval city dramatically perched on the side of a mountain. Day 5: Spello Ride along a panoramic ridge with stops for a festive picnic and bocce. In the distance, see the pink stone city of Assisi. Day 6: Assisi A free day to enjoy Assisi’s and Spello's mystical spirit or take a guided walk around Assisi. An evening cooking lesson of Umbrian cusine with a master chef. Day 7: Todi Ride through rolling farmland to medieval Bevagna, followed by a winetasting in Montefalco. By early afternoon, ascend to this hilltown known for its Etruscan, Roman and medieval walls. Day 8: Orvieto Pedal through vast wheat and sunflower fields to magnificent Orvieto, famous for its cathedral and white wine.
