Day 1:
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner.

Day 2:
Walk along the spectacular caldera cliffs. Decend into a remote bay, observation of the typical volcanic sequence of Santorini. Extensive lunch and swim break, greek traditional picnic with local speciaties and wine. Opportunity to collect minerals, a hot spring.

Day 3:
Whole-day walk on the southern peninsula. Observation of the oldest volcanic centers, a typical cross-section of a small volcano (cone, crater with dike and lava-lake), marine fossiles. Lunch at a small tavern. Along the way several swim breaks possible.

Day 4:
Whole-day walk along the spectacular cliffs of the northern part of the caldera. Visit of the rests of a Venecian castle on the Skaros promontory. Old strato volcanoes, tuff rings, ancient graves and fossile stromatolites. The day ends in the pittoresque, famous town of Oia.

Day 5:
Visit to the Minoan excavations. Transfer or walk to the top of Profitis Ilias Mountain (556m). Walk to the ancient acropolis of Thera. Descend to Perissa beach, lunch. Rest of day on the beach or for those who want walk back to the hotel through impressive pumice canyons.

Day 6:
Whole-day boat trip on an own boat inside the caldera. Visit to the historic volcanic islands of Palea and Nea Kameni (craters, lava flows and domes, fumaroles, hot iron-bearing springs, sulfur crystals). Picnic and long swimming break. Roundtrip along the cliffs by boat.
