A Six Day Art Adventure in Glorious Florence

Day 1:
We arrive in Florence on Sunday, September 22, and share our first meal (weather permitting) in our hotel's rooftop garden overlooking the city. The next day we begin our explorations of the rich artistic legacy of Renaissance Florence. In our visits to the Uffizi, the Bargello, San Marco, the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, and the Brancacci Chapel, you'll see works by well known masters like Botticelli, Leonardo, and Michelangelo, as well as masterpieces by lesser-known artists whose work is often no less wonderful. Day by day itinerary eventually planned based on weather conditions and on ongoing restorations and accessibility of various sites.

Included in the cost of the tour are all the following: Seminars: All lectures, workshops, and escorted visits with experienced and knowledgeable seminar leaders. Hotel Accommodations: 5 nights, double rooms with in-room bath. The hotel has been carefully selected for comfort, ambiance, and location. Meals: All breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 3 dinners in restaurants which present the finest in Tuscan cuisine. (Wine is included with all dinners.) Admissions: All scheduled visits to galleries and museums. Transportation: All tour transportation expenses subsequent to arrival in Florence up to final departure from Florence. (Airfare is not included.) Tips:All gratuities and service fees for hotels and included meals. Materials: All maps, articles, and xeroxed materials to be used in conjunction with seminars and excursions.
