DAY 1, Sat Depart USA

DAY 2, Sun Arrive in Luxembourg and transfer to Trier, Germany’s oldest city, to board the ship. Enjoy some free time to explore the Roman monuments of Trier including the Imperial Baths, Porta Nigra gate and Amphitheater and to sample some Moselle wine. Tonight, attend a welcome Gala Dinner on board (D): CRUISE

DAY 3, Mon This morning, cruise through the stunning Moselle Valley to the charming village of Bernkastel, which has produced wine for more than 500 years. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old Town to view its medieval and renaissance architecture. Continue to Zell, home of the famous wine Zeller Schwarze Katz. Tonight, a festive wine tasting with entertainment (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 4, Tues Early departure down the winding Moselle River to Cochem. This morning, join a guided walking tour of Cochem including a visit to the hilltop Reichsburg Castle. Depart the Moselle Valley and cruise to Koblenz, located at the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine rivers. Upon arrival, enjoy an introductory walking tour of the city. After dinner, explore Koblenz at night (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 5, Wed Today, cruise along the most scenic and well-known section of the Rhine River. View castle after castle and the Lorelei Rock before reaching the wine village of Rudesheim. Tour the town and visit the unique Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Return to the ship via the Drosselgasse, a narrow alley lined with wine taverns and restaurants. DAY 6, Thurs This morning, arrive in Miltenberg for a walking tour of this old Franconian town. Stroll through narrow cobblestone streets past gabled, half-timbered houses. Continue to charming Wertheim. Browse the market square before returning to the ship. This afternoon, cruise through the valleys of the meandering Main and enjoy on board activities (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 7, Fri After a morning filled with beautiful Main river scenery, arrive at Würzburg, "The Pearl of the Romantic Road," a town surrounded by sloping hills covered with vineyards. Visit the major sights including the magnificent Residential Palace. This afternoon, cruise past Volkach to Bamberg. This evening, enjoy an after-dinner medieval music performance (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 8, Sat This morning, enter the Main-Danube Canal at Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided tour of this medieval town including the Cathedral and the Old Town Hall which straddles the river. Stroll the city’s winding streets and view its charming houses and 18th century mansions. Rejoin the ship cruise to Nuremberg (B, L, D): CRUISE
