Days 1-2 Spello Meet in Perugia
• From Spello, pedal through olive groves and forests to medieval Bevagna
• Visit Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis, home to a wealth of pre-Renaissance art
• A knowledgeable local guide joins us for a tour of the town and the fresco-adorned
  lower basilica.

Day 3 Todi
Ride against a backdrop of peaceful hills and valleys to Todi
• This stunning hilltop town boasts a labyrinth of passageways and narrow streets, and
   is home to Tempio di Santa Maria della Consolazione, one of Italy's finest
   Renaissance churches
• Enjoy a glass of wine in the city's majestic medieval piazza
• Sample Umbrian specialties in a local osteria (tavern).

Days 4-6 Orvieto
Bike into the hills above Lake Corbara, stopping in the tiny village of Prodo for a relaxing picnic
• The town of Orvieto, famed for its dry sweet white wine and magnificent cathedral,
  entices us for a visit
• Ride through the lovely lake-dotted Lazio region
• Stop in Cívita di Bagnoregio, an enchanting city perched on a rocky outcrop
• Pedal into the Volsini Mountains, taking in sweeping views of the valley below.
