Day 1:
Saturday--Pick up at Pisa airport. Welcoming buffet lunch. Optional trip to Lucca to do the famous 2 1/2 mile walk around the city walls. Visit San Martino Cathedral. Optional participation in cooking demonstration and preparation of dinner.

Day 2:
Sunday--Cooking class, lunch. Trip to Lucca for free time and shopping. Optional visit to the Puccini museum. Cooking class and dinner.

Day 3:
Monday--Excursion to Volterra and San Gimignano. Lunch at Restaurant Enoteca. Cooking class and dinner at Villa Lucia.

Day 4:
Tuesday--Visit to Vorno baker, guided walk around the footpahts of Vorno. Visit to the food, fruit and vegetable markets and Borgo Gianottti. Free time for shopping in Lucca. Lunch at Il Vipore at Pieve Santo Stefano, a visit to the villa and olive oil "fattoria" of Baronessa Scola Camerini. Optional tour of additional historical sites of Lucca. Cooking class and dinner at Villa Lucia.

Day 5:
Wednesday--Free day in Florence. Optional guided tour. Lunch at L'Omero near the Piazza di Michel Angelo. Dinner at Villa Lucia.

Day 6:
Thursday--Cooking class and lunch. Tour of Montecatini Terme, known for its thermal waters and spas. Funicular to Montecatini Alto for breathtaking views. Time to shop and sightsee. Optional spa treatments or massages at Grand Hotel Della Pace can be arranged.
